RMTmail is a free service provided to you by the RMT. This is a fully functioning email account – with one email address – for you to use to send and receive emails. You can access the service using your web browser, or configure mails to be sent and received on your phone.

When you register for an account, you can choose your email address, which will be your permanent email address. To register you must enter your RMT number and national insurance number, which will take you to a page where you will choose your email address and password. Then you are free to use the account as you wish.

Your email account gives you 1 gigabyte of storage: this is enough for around 100,000 simple text emails, or 250 average-sized MP3’s.
